About

I am an assistant professor in philosophy of technology at the University of Groningen, a senior Humboldt research fellow at the Technical University of Darmstadt, and a research affiliate of the University of Sydney.

I received my PhD in art history and philosophy from the University of Sydney in 2014. Before moving to Groningen in 2016, I experienced modest success as a copywriter, journalist, and magazine editor.

Most of my research sits at the meeting ground between aesthetics, philosophy of design, philosophy of technology, and political philosophy. I write a lot about cities. I also have devastating opinions about art.
